Bell Broussard Blade Shop

Bring your ideas and experience to the Broussard Blade shop. You will work with team members to provide best-in-class service to our customers, performing duties in the paint department. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills and grow your technical and aviation career experience.

What you’ll be doing as Painter

You will prepare, mask, prime, and paint aircraft parts. Tasks include cleaning, sanding, masking, taping, mixing, applying, and smoothing cosmetic fillers. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

What you need to be successful

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of experience painting aircraft parts or similar experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in environments with chemicals, dust, odors, and heat cycles
• Proper PPE usage for zinc chromate and paint
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds regularly
• Capability to stand for extended periods
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch
• Good vision to focus on small details and detect defects
• Willingness to wear PPE, including respirators
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors
• Willingness to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed
