Lakeview Paintworks in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Residential / Light Commercial Painter with drywall experience to join our growing team. This role involves interior and exterior painting along with basic drywall repair and finishing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in residential or commercial painting.
• Drywall repair experience required (basic to intermediate).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting using proper techniques (brush, roller, spray when applicable).
• Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
• Perform basic drywall repairs including patching holes, cracks, nail pops, and minor texture matching.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, primers, stains, and protective coatings.
• Use caulk, joint compound, putty, or plaster to repair surfaces prior to painting.
• Identify proper materials and quantities for each project.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards.
• Perform daily maintenance and care of tools and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
