Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Painter Blaster to prepare surfaces and apply coatings to structural steel, equipment, and construction-related assets. The role includes abrasive blasting, rust removal, and applying primers and epoxy coatings according to project specifications.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, be able to read work orders, and follow safety procedures. You must lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights or in confined spaces, and possess a valid DL and TWIC where

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in abrasive blasting and industrial/commercial painting preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation standards and coating applications.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Experience operating blasting equipment, spray painting equipment, and related tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid DL or Identification.
• Must be able to pass a hair follicle
• Must have a TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and job site requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
• Work effectively with supervisors, project managers, and crew members.
• Perform general labor duties as assigned.
