Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems- Heavy Equipment Group in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Painter Blaster to join our team. You will apply protective coatings to structural materials and operate spray painting and blasting equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and meeting production hours, with opportunities to mentor others and read blueprints. Basic tasks include preparing parts, selecting coatings, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Industrial Manufacturing Painter experience.
• Experience with zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings is a plus.
• Must obtain SSPC paint and blast certifications.

Responsibilities

• Apply zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings with airless, pressure pot, or wire spray.
• Operate blaster to production schedule and perform maintenance.
• Prepare parts per shop order/blueprint by taping and cleaning surfaces.
• Understand different paints and how to mix.
• Maintain the highest standards of quality.
• Mentor others and function as a team player.
• Read basic blueprints.
• Rebuild spray guns and airless spray machines.
• Obtain SSPC paint and blast certifications.
• Follow paint, environmental, and waste data sheets.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Painter Blaster to join our Rhinelander, WI team!

The Manufacturing Painter Blaster leads and demonstrates safety in the workplace. Operates spray painting and blasting equipment to apply protective coatings to structural materials. Consistently maintains high quality and meets or exceeds routed hours.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Must be able to apply all zinc/epoxy/enamel coatings with airless and pressure pot or wire spray
• Operate blaster safely to production schedule and perform all general maintenance
• Prep parts according to shop order/blueprint by taping and cleaning designated surfaces with no assistance
• Understands different types of paints and materials applied and how to mix
• Maintains the highest standards of quality
• Functions as team player with co-workers and mentor others
• Basic blueprints skills
• Ability to rebuild spray guns/paint pots and airless spray machine without assistance
• Must obtain SSPC paint and blast certifications
• Must properly utilize paint, environmental, and waste stream data sheets
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years Industrial Manufacturing Painter, Industrial Coatings Painter Blaster, Automotive Paint Experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 pounds
• Long periods of standing
