POSITION SUMMARY

The Anodize Tech works as part of a team performing essential job functions to move, prep, clean, load or unload materials or product. The Anodize Tech's assigned team and tasks will be the Anodize Department.

POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Sort, load, and unload material.
  • Use of hand tools and machinery is required to maintain equipment.
  • Comply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and procedures.
  • Regular / dependable attendance required.
  • Flexibility of work hours including overtime.
  • Participates in WWS's continuous improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and activity implementing and supporting process improvements.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; 0-1 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock, vibration, and seasonal high/low temperatures and humidity. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, requiring hearing protection. Must be willing and able to comply with all plant safety regulations including wearing appropriate PPE when on the production floor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, talk, hear, and move about the facility. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and grip up to 60 pounds. The employee must occasionally push up to 49 pounds and pull up to 118 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
