Job summary

American Fan has an opportunity for a Painter at our Fairfield, OH facility. The painter will work with the team to ensure products are finished to the required quality.

Responsibilities include inspecting items before and after painting, masking areas, mixing paints, and applying finishes with spray equipment while maintaining EPA standards. A US citizen with a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience preferred.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Experience working with MIL-Specs (military specifications).
• US Citizen

• Cover areas where paint is not needed using tape, wrap, or other materials.
• Follow instructions to mix paints, select tools, and prepare materials for the job.
• Check paint thickness and uniformity before final coating or curing.
• Use spray painting equipment to apply an even, high-quality finish, and touch up as needed.
• Clean tools, equipment, and the workspace after painting.
• Safely move items to and from the work area using appropriate tools or equipment.
• Track work progress and follow all EPA standards and guidelines.
• Uphold FMD's core values of integrity, velocity, and teamwork in all tasks.
• Be open to cross-training and assist with other duties as requested by the manager.

Summary
