Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Painter for 40 hours per week on the Day shift at our Northampton, MA location. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying primers and finishes, and maintaining painted surfaces on facilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent or a trade/technical diploma and 3–5 years related painting experience.

Responsibilities

• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting.
• Smooth surfaces using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, or sanding machines.
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare surfaces for finish coats.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to equipment, buildings, bridges, or other structures.
