Job Opportunity: Industrial Painter at Wastequip

Wastequip is seeking an Industrial Painter to support our Eagleville, TN location. This full-time role offers excellent benefits, including health insurance, a 401K plan, paid vacation and sick leave, and more.

Shift Details: 2nd shift hours: 2:30pm-11pm, with a $3 shift differential.

Responsibilities:

1. Clean grease and dirt from products.
2. Apply masking tape to areas not to be coated.
3. Fill cavities and dents with putty for a smooth surface.
4. Mix coating liquids to achieve desired colors.
5. Set up spray equipment, including connecting guns to air hoses.
6. Adjust spray valves and nozzles to regulate spray width and pressure.
7. Apply prime or finish coats by spraying surfaces.
8. Use brushes for areas inaccessible to spray.
9. Clean spray equipment and brushes with solvent.
10. Apply wax after testing products.
11. Remove rust using acid, wire brush, or steel wool.
12. Operate grinders to remove scratches and excess weld material.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Airless Paint Finishing Systems or similar equipment.
• Experience painting metal surfaces, machinery, or manufactured products.
• Knowledge of paints, enamels, glazes, gel-coats, or lacquers.
• Preferred experience in fast-paced production environments.
• Ability to stand for most of the shift.
