Job summary

CTL Aerospace, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Painter to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role involves reading manufacturing plans, preparing and masking parts, and operating a paint booth with HVLP spray equipment to apply coatings.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand long periods.
• Spray paint using HVLP gun and understand plans.
• Cross-train and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manufacturing plans for coatings.
• Spray parts with HVLP gun and monitor coating quality.
• Prepare and mask parts; operate paint booth safely.
• Maintain documentation and work with team to meet schedules.

CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.
We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as a Painter at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

Job Requirements

• Read and understand manufacturing plans.
• Obtain appropriate materials per plan and maintain the documentation throughout the process.
• Ability to use pneumatic tools such as hand grinder, DA sander & HVLP spray gun.
• Have knowledge of Paint Mixing
• Paint Spray Gun Usage, Troubleshooting & Care
• Paint Surface Preparation
• Paint Booth Operation
• Ability to mask off parts using Painters tape.
