Job summary

The Manor at Seagoville, part of Cantex Continuing Care Network, is seeking a part-time Painter to maintain and refresh our facility's interior. Responsibilities include painting surfaces, drywall touchups, texture application, and coordinating larger painting projects.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, painting experience, and English reading/writing ability. Healthcare setting experience is preferred but not required; safety of residents is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Painting experience required.
• Experience in long-term care setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Focus on resident safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Mix, match and apply paint to surfaces and touchups.

Job Summary

The Painter position is Responsible for mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces, completing touchups, drywall repairs to include tape and bedding, application of texture, sanding and paint. Painter is responsible for facilitating and coordinating large painting projects for the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Painting experience required
• Experience working in a long-term care or related health care setting is preferred, but not required
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
