Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Painter to prepare and paint vacant apartments, supporting move‑in readiness and strong first impressions for residents. The role collaborates with Maintenance and Property Management to complete unit turns efficiently while upholding craftsmanship and safety.

The position is onsite in Woodbury, MN, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional on‑call weekends. Requires high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of painting or related experience.

Qualifications

  • 1 year minimum painting or general maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare apartment units for painting including patching, sanding, caulking and priming.
  • Apply paint with a professional finish and maintain clean work areas.
  • Inspect work to ensure company quality standards are met.
  • Assist with unit turns and general maintenance per safety policies.

Our team owns and operates properties across multiple markets and asset types, leveraging a collaborative and performance-driven culture.Position SummaryThe Painter is responsible for preparing and painting vacant apartment homes to support unit readiness, leasing timelines, and overall property presentation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring each apartment meets company quality standards and delivers a strong first impression for incoming residents. The Painter works closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams to complete unit turns efficiently while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship, cleanliness, and attention to detail.Work ArrangementLocation: Onsite / Woodbury Park at City Centre / Woodbury, MNSchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOn-Call / Weekends: Occasional, based on business needsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare apartment units for painting, including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming surfaces.Complete full-unit repaints and touch-ups to support make-ready and move-in schedules.Apply paint with a high-quality, professional finish while maintaining clean and organized work areas.Inspect completed work to ensure company quality standards are met.Assist with unit turns and general maintenance as needed while following all company safety policies and procedures.Career Path & Next Role ReadinessThe Painter role is part of the broader Maintenance career path, providing foundational skills that support progression into a Make-Ready Technician.
