Industrial Manufacturing is seeking a Painter / General Labor to join the Production team. The role focuses on safe, quality-focused painting preparation, masking, and adherence to company and ISO standards within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, supporting rework with new painting techniques, and managing SAP work orders and paint inventory. The position emphasizes teamwork with Cell Leads and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Our client, Industrial Manufacturing is seeking a Painter / General Labor to join their team. As a Painter / General Labor, you will be part of the Production team supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, attention to quality standards, and the drive to learn and improve processes—while staying organized and dependable in a fast-paced environment.

What's the Job?

• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment while following company rules, policies, and all quality, product safety, and HSE requirements.
• Comply with applicable standards and practices, including ISO 9001, ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AAR, and CMMI.
• Prepare work for painting by masking and preparing painted components to internal Knorr standards and paint manufacturer standards.
• Support rework and repair by identifying new painting techniques and ensuring work orders are entered and closed in SAP.
• Maintain inventory practices, including paint and paint equipment inventory, FIFO handling, and receiving support (including pallet/crate handling, opening crates/boxes to verify items against drawings and RMA, and proper storage or disposal as required).

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate a forklift and other powered equipment safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Comfort working with paint-related processes, including maintaining KPS practices and following special process requirements.
• Strong attention to detail to verify daily needs with Cell Leads and to ensure received items match drawings and RMA documentation.
• Willingness to complete required respiratory mask fitting test as part of the role.
• Ability to support other technicians and team members as directed by the Cell Leader or Sr. Personnel, while maintaining records and safeguarding business documentation.
