Job summary

Cal Farley is seeking a reliable painting and maintenance assistant to support interior and exterior projects across our facilities. You will perform painting, caulking, basic repairs, and assist with safety training and housekeeping to keep spaces clean and safe.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least three years of structural painting experience. Valid driver's license, good time management, attention to detail, and willingness to travel as needed are essential.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
• Performs interior and exterior painting and caulking of buildings with spray and conventional paint equipment. Utilizes the appropriate paint/lacquer.
• Assists in general maintenance activities as assigned.
• Assists in the provision of training and safety education for residents in painting and general maintenance activities.
• Assists in ensuring that shop area is clean, maintained, safe, and organized.
• Ensures that maintenance/repair tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Assists in ensuring that all maintenance equipment assigned is properly utilized and maintained.
• Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment, to include breathing apparatus (facial hair must comply with manufacturer’s directives).
• Exhibits appropriate interaction with residents.
