Job description

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior/exterior surfaces, trimmings, and building fixtures/structures.
• Paint, patch, and repair all walls and coated surfaces in the building.
• Order all materials and equipment. Submit bids regarding any building damage by clients for restitution.
• Stencil and paint building equipment.
• Periodically perform Field Crew tasks as outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding.
• Paint and remove paint as needed.
• Construct and install temporary signage to meet client needs.
• Work at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and motorized aerial work platforms.
• Operate mechanized equipment when required to perform tasks listed above.
• Report all matters that affect work projects to the Lead Painter/Carpenter or Management.
• Participate in safety training and serve on the building Safety Committee as assigned.
• Perform special projects as assigned by management.
• Work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
