Job summary

APEX Technical School is seeking a highly skilled Construction Instructor to teach hands-on work to a group of motivated students. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience is required, as you supply the skills and we provide everything else, including the tools.

The role focuses on practical carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work with safety and hands-on training at the core. The position is full-time with morning-afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years hands-on fieldwork experience in the construction trade with experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Electric
  • Kitchen and Bathroom remodel experience
  • Experience in Framing, Sheetrock, Roofing, and Siding
  • Basic branch circuit knowledge
  • Experience in installing Plumbing Fixtures and DWV

Responsibilities

  • Teach hands-on construction to groups of students who are eager to learn
  • Deliver practical instruction using supplied tools and equipment
  • Foster a safe, engaging learning environment for hands-on projects

Job Description

For over 60 years, APEX Technical School has helped students get the training they need to go after the jobs they want through our unique program of both classroom and hands‑on instruction. APEX is looking for a highly skilled Construction Instructor to teach hands‑on work with a group of students who are eager to learn. ABSOLUTELY no teaching experience required. Requirements
