Job summary

Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert are seeking a dependable Painter to perform interior and exterior painting across cabins and facilities. You will prep surfaces, mix finishes, and apply coatings while coordinating with the facilities team to plan projects and maintain safety and organization on site.

The ideal candidate has experience in interior/exterior painting, pays attention to detail, and can work independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with interior and exterior painting and surface prep.
• Ability to safely use painting tools and basic repair tools.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Dependability and good communication; able to work independently and in a team.
• Three years of professional painting experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for company vehicle operation.
• Ability to read product labels, safety instructions, drawings, and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Complete painting and finishing projects across camp facilities.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and priming as needed.
• Mix and apply paints and coatings with appropriate tools.
• Estimate time and materials for projects.

Help keep Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert looking their best! We’re looking for a dependable Painter who takes pride in quality work to help maintain our cabins, buildings, furniture, and camp facilities.

In this hands-on role, you’ll complete interior and exterior painting projects, prepare surfaces, and apply finishes that protect our facilities and create welcoming spaces for campers and staff. You’ll work with our facilities team to plan projects, coordinate supplies, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

What You’ll Do

• Complete painting and finishing projects throughout both camps.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position involves working indoors and outdoors throughout camp, including cabins, buildings, storage areas, and other facilities. Work requires standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, reaching, bending, and performing repetitive painting tasks.
