Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, and removing old paint.
  • Mix, match, and apply paints and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Provide decorative and faux finishes as required.
  • Handle project planning and preparation efficiently.
  • Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths or plastic sheeting.
  • Move furniture or equipment to access work areas.
  • Estimate time and materials needed for projects.
  • Remove and reinstall fixtures such as door knobs, light switch covers, etc.
  • Tape off appropriate areas to ensure clean paint lines.
  • Select and purchase paint, brushes, and other necessary supplies.
  • Clean tools and restore work areas after completion.
  • Collaborate with other departments to complete painting tasks.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, reporting unsafe or unusual conditions.
  • Maintain professional and positive interaction with guests and team members.
