What You’ll Do

As a Painter, you will be responsible for prepping, painting, and finishing parts used in our industry-leading equipment. You’ll operate and maintain paint systems, follow safety and quality procedures, and help create a clean, consistent finish that reflects the craftsmanship we’re known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Prep and Paint Parts – Set up paint equipment, clean and prep parts, mix coatings, and apply paint according to quality and safety standards
• Maintain Painting Equipment – Monitor water usage, change filters, clean hooks and tools, and keep equipment in working condition
• Track Inventory and Order Supplies – Monitor paint and materials usage and reorder supplies as needed to prevent downtime
• Maintain a Clean Work Environment – Keep the paint area dry, organized, and free of debris to minimize hazards and support productivity
• Follow Lean 5S Practices – Apply sorting, organization, cleanliness, standardization, and sustainability to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
• Maintain Good Attendance – Follow assigned work schedules and communicate any planned or unplanned absences with your supervisor

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Industry experience in painting or coating applications
• Experience with liquid paint application is required. This could come from industrial, automotive, or other hands-on environments where precision and finish matter.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Experience following safety protocols in a production environment
• Attention to detail and pride in doing things right
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a team-based work environment

Physical & Mental Demands

• Ability to remain in a standing position for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to wear and work with a PAPR respirator system
• Ability to work at a steady pace with attention to detail
• Must be able to follow instructions, perform basic arithmetic, and work in a production setting

Working Conditions

• Adhere to attendance requirements as set by the department supervisor.
• Work conditions vary between office and production floor environments.
• Overtime as required and/or needed to meet production demands.
