Responsibilities include surface prep, repairs, masking, cleaning, site protection, and operating rollers, brushes, and sprayers on diverse sites. Must be 18+ with the ability to lift 50 lbs and work at elevated levels. Pay ranges from $18 to $30 per hour with benefits.

(Multi-family, New Construction, and Commercial Projects)

Painter Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepping surfaces prior to layering paint - cleaning, trimming, taping
• Inspect and repair damaged surfaces – fill and patch holes, cracks and imperfections
• Cleaning and clearing of debris
• Protecting surfaces – taping, drop cloths
• Use of rollers, brushes and sprayers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Painter Requirements:

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift 50+ lbs.
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of the team
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at elevated levels

Most of the projects that are performed by NHI Commercial are directly related to multi-family housing. This means that in many cases, projects are performed within occupied units and communities, and it is the expectation of NHI Commercial that all employees act with a high level of professionalism.

Pay range: $18 - $30 per hour based on experience

*Consistent base rate. Many jobs are based on government contracts and fall under prevailing wage. If prevailing wage is higher, the employee will get the higher of the two.
