Nature and Scope:

We are looking for a skilled painter to paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings, and other surfaces.

Minimum eligibility requirements

• Relevant work experience (2+ years preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of painting materials and techniques, including selection, mixing, and application.
• Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques.
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns, etc.).
• Excellent basic math skills.
• Manual dexterity and good balance to work on scaffolding, ladders, etc.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, and respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Ability to practice and promote the company's Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values, and Founding Principles.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Must meet all health requirements.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Ability to perform duties and responsibilities (essential job functions), with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential functions

Maintenance

• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures, etc.
• Prepare walls and surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old paint, etc.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials (e.g., plaster).
• Mix paint and other materials to achieve the right color or texture.
• Paint surfaces according to instructions using various tools.
• Apply varnish and other finishes.
• Calculate costs.

Customer service

• Ensure all employees provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform job duties for residents and team members courteously and professionally.
• Take initiative to prioritize resident safety and satisfaction.
• Meet and greet visitors in a friendly, helpful manner, including residents’ families, prospective residents, referral sources, vendors, and regulators.
