Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Painter to repaint scaffolding and equipment, maintaining their appearance and usefulness on job sites.

The role requires forklift certification, a valid driver’s license and 1+ year of experience in an automobile or equipment paint shop, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and work indoors or outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment for painting by removing dirt, rust and old paint.
• Sprays paints or dips equipment.
• Re-applies insignia and safety instructions as required.
• Cleans paint guns and equipment; maintains paint booth cleanliness and safety.
• Hangs scaffolding for drying and returns painted items to inventory after drying.
• Performs other duties assigned by the manager.
