• Trade school or college degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• 5+ years of mechanical experience in rental or similar industry.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Proven customer relations and communications skills.
• Basic computer understanding to enter data.
• Knowledge of tools, materials and methods to repair and maintain rental equipment.
• Proven safety record.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, assist and train service technicians in best practices of equipment repair and safety.
• Perform inspections of completed repairs to ensure quality of work.
• Improve operations, reduce turnaround times and streamline processes.
• Coordinate with other areas to provide quality, seamless customer service.
• Direct service technicians and yard staff in daily operations.
• Schedule service and maintenance of equipment in workshop or at customer sites; respond to breakdowns with road technicians.
• Monitor equipment repairs and assign to the correct account or profit center.
• Assist in training employees and addressing conflicts.
