Job summary

Senneca is seeking an experienced Painter to join our Houston-area facility. The painter will collaborate with Area Leads and the Production Supervisor to meet department standards and production schedules, performing tasks from preparation to final finishing with attention to color and finish tolerances.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, preferably 1 year of industrial or auto body painting experience, ability to lift 25–50 pounds, familiarity with SOPs, quality and safety

Qualifications

  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in industrial or auto body painting.
  • Must be able to frequently lift 25-50 pounds and wear PPE.
  • Knowledge of SOP, quality, and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Effective prioritization and workflow management to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and comprehend project specifications.
  • Inspect for final prep and manage loading and unloading of paint and supplies, ensuring color and finish tolerances are met.
  • Keep track of paint and supply inventories, and alert the Lead when replenishment is needed.
  • Perform quality assurance checks throughout the painting process.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tasks and concepts.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Painter for our facility.
