First Class Air in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Painter to join its maintenance/overhaul support teams. The role involves preparing aircraft components for painting, performing masking and sanding, and applying coatings in a controlled paint booth environment.

The candidate should have mechanical and mathematical aptitude, be able to interpret written and verbal instructions, and be willing to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare aircraft components for a paint job by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Inspect components to identify imperfections, scratches, or dents requiring repair or attention.
• Paint, base coat application, refinishing, corrosion treatment and curing requirements.
• Maintain a clean workstation/Paint Booths free from Foreign Object/Debris (FOD).
• Adhere to FAA guidelines and internal processes.
• Uphold safety PPE policies and observe OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will be doing…

• Prepareaircraftcomponentsfor a paint job by performing thorough sanding, masking, and priming procedures, ensuring smooth and flawless surfaces.
• Inspect componentstoidentifyimperfections, scratches, or dents that require repair or attention.
• Responsible for painting, base coat application, refinishing, corrosiontreatmentandcuring requirements.
• Maintainand enforce a clean workstation/Paint Booths, free from Foreign Object/Debris (FOD) including tooling used to perform painting duties.
• Perform all workin accordance withFederalAviation Administration (or equivalent) guidelines.
• Adhere to Cobalt’s Repair Station Quality Manual and internal processes.
• Ensure your work area is neat, clean, and in safe condition.
• Observe,implementand uphold company safety and OSHA guidelines and company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies. (e.g.safety glasses, respirators, ear protection, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned.
