Job summary

First Class Air is seeking a skilled Painter to work in Hot Springs, AR, preparing and finishing aircraft components with precision.

You will sand, mask, prime, and apply base coats while ensuring flawless surfaces and adherence to safety standards. This role supports a growing aviation services group focused on OEM, PMA, and aftermarket parts.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft components for a paint job by sanding, masking, and priming.
• Inspect components for imperfections, scratches, or dents that require repair or attention.
• Paint, base coat application, refinishing, corrosion treatment and curing requirements.
• Maintain and enforce a clean workstation/paint booths, free from FOD including tooling used to perform painting duties.
• Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (or equivalent) guidelines.
• Adhere to Cobalt’s Repair Station Quality Manual and internal processes.
• Ensure your work area is neat, clean, and in safe condition.
• Observe, implement and uphold company safety and OSHA guidelines and PPE policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will be doing...
