Job summary

BELFOR Holdings is seeking a Painter to handle painting projects for interiors and exteriors of structures. The role involves surface prep, selecting materials, and achieving high-quality finishes with attention to detail.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, on-site prep, scraping, sanding, mixing paints, applying finishes, and complying with safety regulations. 1+ year painting experience preferred and valid English literacy required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience as a professional painter.
• Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques.
• Construction, restoration or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail.
• English language literacy & fluency.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
• Ability to work under time constraints to meet specific obligations.

• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
• Apply varnish and other finishes.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

The Painter position is responsible for all aspects of painting both the interiors and exteriors of structures, buildings and other surfaces. This position will need to select the right materials for their job, as well as prepping the area for work. Attention to detail will be an important trait to ensure high-quality results.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted (from 0-15% of the time)
