  • Maintain good housekeeping of the paint area and surroundings.

The position is responsible for painting and cleaning various size and shapes of industrial parts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Safety – Conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1
  • Adhere to all H-E Parts company policies and procedures
  • Must maintain a good attendance record and maintain the highest level of professional conduct
  • Ensure parts are clean and ready for paint.
  • Prepare and secure parts for transportation throughout the shop area
  • Rig and set up parts securely on stands or in parts washer for cleaning and painting
  • Use of tools, pressure washer and chemical tank to prep parts.
  • Operate material-handling equipment to move parts to different staging areas and set up various stands.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of paint area
  • Demonstrate an aptitude to learn and grown within the department and shop
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs is required
  • Ability to wear respirator and/or other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
  • Self-motivated, possessing the ability to work with limited supervision required
  • Strong work ethic and attendance required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
