About the role

The Painter is responsible for preparing, inspecting, painting, and completing finished wheels and related products in accordance with company quality and production standards. This position performs final inspections, applies appropriate tags and identification, and ensures completed products are properly palletized and moved to finished stock. The Painter is also responsible for operating, loading, and unloading the burn oven and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

What you'll do
  • Perform final quality inspections of finished wheels and components to ensure products meet established company standards.
  • Properly tag, identify, and prepare finished wheels and components for inventory and shipment.
  • Palletize finished products safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload the burn oven while following established safety and operating procedures.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or quality concern and report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  • Operate equipment and use tools in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Meet established quality and productivity standards.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial, automotive, manufacturing, or production painting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products.
  • Ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and quality concerns in finished products.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety procedures, and established work processes.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent quality and productivity standards.
  • Ability to safely operate and work around production equipment and tools.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and finished products as required.
