Job summary

Reading Truck, a leading manufacturer of commercial and fleet vehicles, seeks a Liquid Painter for 1st shift in Claremore, OK. Join a high-volume shop and get paid to work with premium truck bodies, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include surface prep, matching paints and primers to specs, operating spray equipment, inspecting painted units, and maintaining paint records. Safety rules apply; PPE required; pre-employment fit test is performed.

Qualifications

• Experience required from tech school, industry or personal hobby.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare surfaces and mix paints to spec.
• Operate spray equipment and ensure proper atomization.

• Apply coatings per recommended thickness.

• Operate paint spraying equipment including pot guns, compressors etc.
• Craftsmanship must meet Company quality standards.
• Follow all Company safety rules and policies.
• Maintain records on paint.

Location: Claremore, OK

$1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS

Our Painters work together to complete the painting of specialty truck equipment. Experience required from tech school, industry or personal hobby.

The Nuts and Bolts:

• Prepare surfaces as needed by sanding and grinding
• Mix, thin, and adjust spray equipment for proper atomization
• Mix paints and primers to exact specifications ordered by the customer
• Apply coatings per recommended thickness
• Quality inspection process for units and parts scheduled to be painted
• Quality inspection on painted units
• Operate paint spraying equipment including pot guns, compressors etc.
• Craftsmanship must meet Company quality standards
• Follow all Company safety rules and policies
• Maintain records on paint
• Required to complete a full and half face fit test- pre-employment
• Must be willing and able to wear all require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
