Position Summary : Our property management company is looking for an experienced, deadline-driven professional Painter with great attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Our Painter will be responsible for maintaining paint condition in both interior and exterior spaces assigned for several residential properties in the North and West Suburban area. Reliable transportation is necessary.
Pay: Up to $25/hr. commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation, willing & able to commute
- Prior experience in a multifamily housing community a plus
- Experience with painting, patching, hanging drywall, and sanding surfaces
- Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills in order to complete projects on time
- A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of all applicable health and safety standards
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare area and surface for painting which includes, masking, hanging drywall, cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking and covering nearby objects when needed
- Will need to use a ladder and practice ladder safety
- Take pride in your work and ensure that all paint jobs are completed neatly and by required deadline
- Clean areas thoroughly and remove supplies and equipment at the completion of all projects
- Assist with and maintain inventory of tools, paint, and materials
- Store and dispose of paint as directed by your supervisor
- Report unsafe workplace conditions to the management office
- Follow all safety guidelines with respect to the use and disposal of hazardous chemicals
- Any other tasks as directed by the Director of Maintenance & Facilities
