Job summary

Atterro is hiring a Painter in Chattanooga, TN, offering $17.00 per hour on a 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Friday). Duties include trimming, sanding, flame finishing, and inspecting injection-molded parts, with emphasis on quality and production efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in manufacturing or related fields, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read work instructions. This role combines hands-on work with safety-focused environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 2 years of manufacturing/production experience is expected.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production docs.

Responsibilities

  • Trim, sand, flame, and finish injection molded parts in preparation for the paint process.
  • Perform visual quality inspections according to work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Load and unload parts according to production schedules and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify defects and use handheld electrical tools to remove minor imperfections.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure all parts meet customer requirements.
  • Accurately record defects, scrap, rework, and production data.
  • Complete traceability records and required production documentation.
  • Follow rework and scrap procedures while maintaining established line speeds.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and assist team members as needed.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements
  • 2 years of previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, injection molding, production, or quality inspection.

  • Ability to maintain production rates while ensuring product quality and accuracy.
Physical Capabilities
