Protomet Corporation in Loudon, TN seeks a Paint Team Member to apply and inspect powder coat and wet paint finishes on Protomet parts. The role supports finishing operations with automated equipment, written work instructions, and defined standards. You will develop proficiency across surface prep, masking, coating, inspection, and material handling to deliver a world-class finish.

This position runs Friday to Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Responsabilidades

• Hang parts for powder coat and wet paint processing
• Blow off, clean, and mask parts prior to coating application
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and minor repair of surface blemishes
• Operate powder coat application equipment and maintain proper booth operation
• Apply wet paint finishes according to documented work instructions and quality standards
• Inspect coated and painted parts for coverage, appearance, adhesion, and quality requirements
• Load completed parts into designated containers and staging locations
• Cross-train and maintain proficiency in all finishing department processes

The finishing process is supported by automated equipment, documented work instructions, engineering-defined standards, and team member expertise. Paint Team Members are expected to develop proficiency in all finishing operations within the department, including surface preparation, masking, powder coating, wet paint application, inspection, and material handling.
