Job description

Your tasks

• Supervision and optimization of the e-coat system and its components.
• Development of paint racks, standardization of process and testing.
• Ensuring technically immaculate condition of the e-coat system.
• Quotation preparations, engineering write-ups, collecting related data, and presenting/explaining quotes to customers, including new business.
• Planning and implementation of process-capable and economically beneficial projects within set pre-production guidelines, including preparation of supportive documentation.
• Supervision and line trials of prototypes, including technical release procedures.
• Supporting and providing technical training to paint technicians and supporting staff in surface technologies.
• Preparation of technology-related documentation and updates to master data, working with external suppliers in surface technologies (paint, pretreatment, wastewater, etc.).

Your Profile

• Surface, coating, chemical technologist, or comparable graduate engineering technologist, bachelor in science, with extensive job experience.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in surface coating technologies focusing on e-coat.
• Detailed technological knowledge of methods and processes.
• Expertise in surface technology focus areas.
• Chemical background.
• Project management skills.
• Good understanding of the market and coating business.
• MTM certification.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and self-driven.
• Excellent decision-making abilities.
