Job Summary

This role supports the Trane Technologies Life Sciences Portfolio and has been designated as Safety Sensitive by the company.

The Paint Technician
  • Determine paint schedules based on part dimensions and orientation.
  • Direct the work of General Fabricators assigned to the team by the Fabrication Department Manager.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of the paint line.
Qualifications
  • Relative work experience of 1-3 years preferred; one year of paint room experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • May drive a forklift as needed; valid driver’s license and Helmer Fork Lift Training completion are required if driving a forklift.
  • No computer systems or specialized training required.
Key Competencies
  • Ability to recognize and prevent safety issues.
  • Make timely and appropriate decisions to prevent production downtime due to machine outages.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Follow established procedures with accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Open to diverse views and opinions; offer constructive opinions and assistance when needed.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring devices.

Base Compensation: $19.70/hour
