Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a Paint Technician for a Fabrication Shop in a temp-to-hire role. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray guns, while following supervisor instructions in a loud, mechanical environment.

The position requires physical stamina, respirator use, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, non-exempt, with 100% paid healthcare for the employee and family upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a respiratory physical and health questionnaire.
• Must be able to wear a respirator.
• Able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around moving equipment, mechanical parts, and loud noise.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by smoothing and removing old paint.
• Mix and match paint as needed.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
• Read work orders and follow supervisor instructions. Set up ladders or scaffolding when needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.

MUST HAVES

• High school diploma/GED or related painting experience/training
• Must be willing to wear required PPE at all times
