Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
• Previous paint prep experience.
• Fundamental computer, math, and reading skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environment and processes.
• Must be able to follow established methods and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in writing and verbally.
• Must be team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Wipe, sand, inspect all parts, and prepare painted parts for paint repair.
• Plug and mask all parts and blow out cavities to ensure proper paint adhesion.
• Operate overhead hoist to hang parts and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Assist in training others in paint prep processes and equipment functions.
• Polish, take readings (gloss, wave, color), and perform adhesion tests.
