Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company in Albany, GA is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist both retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing while working under the Store Manager.

You will gain product knowledge, help maintain a clean, safe store, and support daily operations. The starting pay is $15 per hour, with typical store hours Monday–Friday 7am–5pm, Saturday

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and passing background checks.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills with customers.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing.
• Willing to work scheduled hours including weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to operate hand truck and material handling equipment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed
