Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain industrial paint spray equipment, including manual, semi-automated, and fully automated systems
  • Prepare surfaces for coating through cleaning, sanding, priming, and pre-treatment processes
  • Calibrate and adjust spray guns, pressure settings, and flow rates to achieve uniform coating thickness and finish quality
  • Monitor and control environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity to optimize paint application
  • Conduct visual and tactile inspections to detect and report defects including runs, sags, orange peel, and missed areas
  • Adhere to safety procedures and handle hazardous materials (paints, solvents, coatings) in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Record production data including batch numbers, material usage, and quality deviations
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and maintenance teams to resolve coating issues and improve process performance
  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and preventive upkeep of spray equipment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency

Requirements
