Job summary

BMW Group Spartanburg seeks an intern/co-op to support the Paint Shop training initiatives and join the digitalization team. You will develop reporting tools, plan projects, and learn new technologies such as Augmented Reality.

Applicants must be enrolled in a US college, with a 3.0+ GPA, and have completed at least 30 credits. On-site 40 hours/week; term dates January 11–May 14, 2027; transcript required.

Qualifications

  • SQL and VBA is required.
  • Oracle experience and database knowledge.
  • Microsoft Power Apps experience is preferred.
  • GPA 3.0+ and US college enrollment required.
  • Completed at least 30 credits at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Must attach unofficial transcript; substance abuse test required.

Responsibilities

  • Developing tools used for reporting and planning (excel, Apex, Power bi, or others).
  • Develop a custom course, opportunity to teach this course or others.
  • Plan projects related to technical training equipment/processes.
  • Learn new technologies (Augmented Reality, new software).
  • Reporting of technical trainings.
  • Further development of reporting tools (oracle/SharePoint).
  • Maintenance of reporting systems.
  • Planning of future courses.
  • Gap analysis (qualifications).
  • Data analysis (training data).
  • Assist TCT (Training Coordination Team) as needed, new class development, planning, etc.

Support Paint Shop training initiatives. Key member in the digitalization team and growth of the paint shop and plant training process.

The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute and improve in the following functions:
  • Developing tools used for reporting and planning (excel, Apex, Power bi, or others).

  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES AREJanuary 11th – May 14th, 2027.
