Job summary

Magnit Direct Source, on behalf of Toyota, is hiring a Paint Seibi Technician for a 12-month contract in Georgetown, Kentucky. Responsibilities include online and offline robot programming, process optimization, and quality evaluation on Sealer, UBC, Dampening, Primer, Base, and Clear coat lines.

Qualifications require an Associate degree or 2-year technical degree/equivalent, plus hands-on PLC and CAD tooling experience.

• Online Robot Programming – Sealer, UBC, and Dampening: perform programming, run trials, adjust process parameters, and ensure quality against drawings.
• Online Robot Programming – Primer, Base, and Clear coat: same responsibilities as above for different lines.
• Offline Robot Programming: use simulation software, run reach studies, and conduct cycle time analysis.
• Evaluate quality using elco-meters, wave-scan and X-Rite.
• Create Hand Over Documents with snapshots of robot processes.
• Communicate effectively using Microsoft Office and written communication.

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Paint Seibi Technician for a temporary assignment in Georgetown, Kentucky.

This is a 12-month contract. The pay range for this role is between $35.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

Key Responsibilities:

Online Robot Programming – Sealer, UBC, and Dampening:

• Perform online robot programming for Sealer, UBC, and Dampening applications.
• Run trials and adjust process parameters as required.
• Evaluate quality against drawings and ensure standards are met.

Online Robot Programming – Primer, Base, and Clear:

• Perform online robot programming for Primer, Base, and Clear coat applications.
• Run trials and adjust process parameters as required.
• Evaluate quality against drawings and ensure standards are met.

Offline Robot Programming:

• Use simulation software to create robot programs.
• Perform reach studies.
• Conduct cycle time analysis.

Evaluate Quality:

• Use elco-meters, wave-scan and X-Rite

Create Hand Over Documents:

• Create snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMC's

Effective communications:

• Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written word

Education/Experience:

• Associate’s degree
• 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience

• PLC Programming (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron, etc)
• Experience with Digital Engineering (Catia, Delmia, Solidworks, Inventor)
• Additional related certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
