LER TechForce is seeking a Paint SE Upper Body Engineer in Georgetown, KY to support our client's Paint Production Engineering Department. The role centers on leading new model activity in Paint SE and serving as a liaison between design and manufacturing across North American Paint Shops.

You will help implement new model processes that meet Paint standards, safety, quality, productivity and cost goals, and you will develop/update Paint SE check sheets while coordinating CAD work and project

Qualifications

• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling using AutoCAD and CATIA.
• Experience in project scheduling and coordination.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• 1-2 years of job experience; co-ops/internships should total two terms or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead new model activity in Paint SE (Simultaneous Engineering) across design and manufacturing.
• Act as liaison between design and manufacturing projects in North American Paint Shops.
• Develop and update Paint SE standard check sheets, shikumi, and BMC for quality, safety, productivity and cost.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Our Client's TMNA Paint Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead new model activity in Paint SE (Simultaneous Engineering) function as liaison between design and manufacturing projects throughout all Our Client's North American Paint Manufacturing Shops

Reporting to the Manager, the person in this role will support the Paint Engineering department's objective to provide new model processes to manufacturing facilities that meet Paint Standard, Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.

Key responsibilities:

• Support SE group to develop and update Paint SE standard check sheet, shikumi, BMC, feedback from other projects to continue improving Paint SE quality, safety, productivity, and cost.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling, AutoCad, Catia.
• Overall project schedule planning.
• Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Power-Point, Word, Outlook).
• 3D Cad dwg. experience minimum 1 year.
• Job experience 1 or 2 years. If Co-op & Internship should have 2 terms or more.

Preferred:

• Project management.
• 1+ years of Automotive experience.
• 1+ Years in Catia for SE data analysis.
