Job summary

Calance, Inc. is seeking a Paint Production Engineer – Upper Body / SE for an onsite, 12+ month contract in Georgetown, KY. You will support the SE group, develop and update standard check sheets, and drive quality, safety, productivity and cost improvements in the Paint SE area.

Requirements include 2+ years of relevant experience, 1 year of 3D CAD with AutoCAD/Catia, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. Travel up to 12% and OT are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering roles.
• 1 year of experience working with 3D CAD drawings.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling using AutoCAD and Catia.
• Overall project schedule planning and use of Microsoft Office tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support SE group to develop and update Paint SE standard check sheets, shikumi, BMC, and process feedback to improve quality, safety, productivity and cost.

JOB DETAILS:

Position: Paint Production Engineer – Upper Body / SE

JOB REF#: 45150 - 1515541

Duration: 12+ Months (On-going Contract)

Location: ONSITE - Georgetown, KY 40324

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour (W2 Only)

Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense

This is role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered

HOURS: MON-FRI 8am-5pm (ET)

Key Responsibilities:

Support SE group to develop and update Paint SE standard check sheet, shikumi, BMC, feedback from other projects to continue improving Paint SE quality, safety, productivity, and cost.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of relevant experience. Candidates qualifying through co-op or internship experience must have completed at least two terms.


• 1 year of experience working with 3D CAD drawings.


• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling, AutoCAD, Catia.


• Overall project schedule planning.


• Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).


• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Other Requirements:

• 12%: Travel - Domestic and International (US, Canada and Mexico)


• 12%: Over-time - which covers weekends, holidays, and shutdowns, when required


• PPE: Will wear Steel Toed Shoes/Hard Hat and Safety Glasses
