Job summary

Rah in Concord, NH is seeking a Paint Department Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, assess needs, demonstrate product features, and help customers complete their projects. You will maintain stock, keep the department clean and safe, collaborate with store teams, operate color-matching equipment, and contribute to sales growth in the paint department.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to read and communicate clearly, basic math, and comfort with retail

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred; retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; speak clearly to customers and employees.
• Experience with retail computer systems and cash registers; familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce, Epicor Eagle, ACE portals and XRite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, amazing sales service by proactively assisting customers.
• Explain product features and finishes and suggest related items for complete projects.
• Greet, qualify, recommend and close sales in the paint department.
• Maintain stock and keep the department clean, safe and shop-ready.
• Collaborate with store management and other departments to meet customer needs.
• Operate color matching equipment and demonstrate paint applications.
• Train and assist store associates in paint-related knowledge.
• Drive paint sales and participate in monthly store meetings.
