Job summary

Ring's End, Inc. in Madison, CT is hiring a full-time Paint Sales Associate to keep our paint organized and serve customers. You will move merchandise from order to delivery and assist shoppers while maintaining stockroom and floor inventories.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, safe practices, reliable attendance, and teamwork. This position is on-site with opportunities to contribute to a reputable, family-run home improvement retailer.

Qualifications

• Flexible and adaptable to changes that may affect position.
• Ability to quickly count and use simple addition.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including the ability to lift 100 lbs. and be on your feet all day.
• Ability to use current technology and show an aptitude for learning new programs.
• Deliver merchandise to customer homes and job sites.
• Have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Move store merchandise from point-of-order to point-of-customer receipt.
• Provide direct and indirect service to customers and maintain inventory levels on the floor as well as in the stockroom.
• Check in shipments and store orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality condition.
• Keep accurate records and files, prepare the store for opening and closing, keep items in good condition, guide other workers, and help anywhere else you can.
