Summit Truck Bodies is looking for a Paint Robotic Programmer to monitor robots throughout the paint process and ensure quality and function.**WE OFFER A FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE FOR BENEFITS ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES INCLUDING:*** Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance* Life (Voluntary and Employer Paid) and Disability Insurance* 401(K) with company match beginning with your first contribution* HSA and/or FSA, as applicable* Paid Time Off and Company Paid Holidays* Employee Car Discount Program**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Resolve repetitive quality defects through investigation and corrective action.* Conduct software updates and calibrations.* Ability to start machine, engage feed, transfer or spray applications, and observe operation.* Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications.* Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.* Program robot pathways and application controls.* Perform routine preventative maintenance on robots.* Provide immediate corrective action to robot faults.* Engages equipment and observes spray applications.* Demonstrates responsibility for safety, quality and production.* Maintain all required records.* Follow all safety procedures.* Other duties as assigned.**WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:*** Frequent mobility and / or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged / extended periods.* Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.* Requires stretching to reach items up to 50 pounds.* Requires working in areas which are not ventilated or air-conditioned.* Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.* Requires exposure to chemicals and solvents.* Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.* Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.* Requires working in a fast-paced environment* Requires a normal range of hearing and vision* Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations* Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:*** High School diploma or equivalent.* Valid driver's license with good standing MVR.* 1 year of experience in robotic painting or related role preferred.* Certified for all robotic painting operations, methods, and processes preferred.* Excellent creativity, problem solving, and analytical skills.* Ability to utilize a computer with basic software skills.* Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
