Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in South Chesterfield, VA. You will lead front-line teams to hit safety, quality, and productivity targets while maintaining inventory control and adherence to schedules.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with experience in a manufacturing environment and Lean/Six Sigma exposure. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in a leadership role in manufacturing or production.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years with 5S, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead team leaders and hourly production staff to meet safety, schedule, and quality targets.
• Develop, audit, and improve daily standard work and routines.
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedules and inventory controls for materials.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, shipping to hit targets on time.
• Document skills, train associates, and manage timekeeping and safety compliance.
