Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for our Grand Island, Nebraska facility. The role is fully on-site, requiring strong adherence to production instructions and safety procedures, with a starting pay of $24.85 per hour plus potential bonuses.

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and overtime may be required, including some Saturdays. You will support the paint line, perform prep work, operate blast equipment, and maintain accurate records while keeping work areas clean

Responsibilities

• Maintain the production assembly line pace by providing necessary support, including handling and unhooking parts on the paint line and using tools as needed.
• Work from work instructions, process sheets, check sheets, photos, and supervisor instructions.
• Component/surface preparation for paint process (scuff sanding, minor defect repair, tacking, wiping).
• Blast products to prepare for paint; set up, adjust, and operate blast booths.
• Adapt to new methods, processes, materials and equipment; move parts and attach/remove to/from conveyor components.
• Match parts to numbers, keep counts and identification; maintain accurate records; ensure work areas are clean and orderly.
• Follow safety and quality procedures; perform other duties; overtime may be required including occasional Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the production assembly line pace by providing necessary support, including: handing and unhanging parts on the paint line, utilizing scrapers, brushes, hand tools, and pressure sprayers, operating a hoist or overhead crane, and other equipment as necessary for assigned task.
• Work from work instructions, process sheets, check sheets, photos, and supervisor instructions.
• Component/surface preparation (i.e. scuff sanding, minor defect reparation, tacking, wiping, etc.) for paint process.
• Blast products to prepare for paint.
• Set up, adjust, and operate manual/automatic blast booths.
• Adapt to new methods, processes, materials and equipment.
• Perform tasks as required to move parts, attach and remove parts to and from conveyor components as instructed.
• Match parts to part numbers, keep counts and correct identification.
• Maintain accurate and organized records.
• Operation of equipment as necessary for assigned task.
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with company practice.
• Follow all safety and quality requirements/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations.

Experience Required

1 year of direct manufacturing experience

Pay Transparency

The hourly pay for this role isUSD $24.85 - plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
