What You’ll Do
As a Paint Process Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the paint production process to ensure quality, efficiency, and uptime:
- Monitor and maintain paint processes including robots, booths, and water treatment systems
- Analyze process deviations and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance and OEE
- Start up, operate, and shut down paint lines safely according to production schedules
- Perform basic maintenance (Level 1) on paint equipment and robotics
- Troubleshoot paint defects and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and paint application requirements
- Optimize paint consumption including primers, basecoat, clear coat, and solvents
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts
- Maintain a strong focus on safety (HSE/LOTO standards) and operational discipline
What You Need
We’re looking for process-driven technicians who understand manufacturing flow and quality:
- 2–3 years of experience in painted parts production or similar manufacturing environment
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics
- Experience with robotics and paint application systems preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills using structured methods (POMS/A3 preferred)
- Ability to monitor processes, identify issues, and act quickly
- Solid computer skills for tracking and reporting
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
