Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a machine shop, fabrication, or finishing environment preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications required.
• Must be able to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and have a strong attention to detail.
• Must pass a post-employment offer drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating via sandblasting, sanding, masking, and cleaning.
• Touch up areas of painted items as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment to position large parts.
• Assist with final product preparation for shipment.
• Perform finishing operations: deburring, sanding, grinding, polishing, cleaning.
• Use hand and power tools to achieve required finishes.
• Read blueprints and quality specs to determine finishing requirements.
• Assemble machinery and fabricated metal products per directions.
• Use machines and hand tools to complete tasks.
