Job summary

FULL VISION INC is seeking a Powder Coating Prep Operator in Georgia to prepare metal parts for coating, mask areas, and inspect for defects. You will hang parts on racks, manage conveyors, and assist with unloading painted parts. The role requires strong dexterity, reading production plans, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include masking, surface prep, quality checks, and supporting basic assembly as needed. A drug and agility test are required before employment.

General Summary:Responsible for preparing metal products for the powder coating process to ensure proper adhesion, quality, and finish. This position plays an important role in maintaining product quality by cleaning, inspecting, and preparing parts before they enter the powder paint system. The role may also include basic assembly and material handling duties as needed.Essential Functions:Prepare metal parts and products for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces.Remove oils, dirt, rust, and other contaminants to ensure proper paint adhesion.Hang or position parts on racks or conveyors for the powder coating process.Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before painting.Mask or tape areas that should not be coated.Assist with unloading painted parts and perform light assembly tasks as required.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to equipment and materials.Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production needs or quality concerns.Perform other related duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Moves parts weighing up to 80 pounds.Frequent cutting bending and moving of parts weighing up to 50 pounds.Occasional squatting, sitting, kneeling, and overhead reaching.Exposure to noise – continuouslyLifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds frequentlyContinuously operating machinery with buttons, levers, and switches.Lifting parts above the shoulder and requiring 80 pounds of force to initiate movement.Standing, Twisting, Walking – frequentlyContinuous standing and walking on concrete surfacesPhysical Capacity Profile of Level 4Expectations:You will be expected to display Full Vision’s Core Values-Honesty, Winning Team Mindset, Accountable, Positive Attitude, and Personal Commitment.
